On the first Sunday of December, Keswick Victorian Fayre gives the town centre a festive nineteenth century feel. Market Square and Packhorse Court fill with themed stalls and live entertainment throughout the day, and many visitors join in by dressing in period costume.
Children can enter the free costume competitions held during the day, so pack a top hat or shawl, along with a warm coat. Check the organiser’s website for this year’s dates.
