Keswick Film Festival takes over the town for four days, normally in March, with a programme of documentaries, international independent films, modern classics and family screenings. Most films are shown at the Alhambra Cinema and Theatre by the Lake, with some screenings at Rheged near Penrith.
The festival also runs the Osprey Short Film Awards for short films with a Cumbrian connection, and audiences are invited to rate every film they see. Check the organiser’s website for this year’s dates and programme.
