Keswick Agricultural Show is a traditional Lakeland show held on the August bank holiday Monday at Pump Field in Braithwaite, a few miles west of Keswick. It is run by the Keswick Agricultural Society, founded more than 160 years ago.
The day brings horse, sheep and dog classes, sheepdog trials, fell racing, sheep clipping, terrier racing and Cumberland and Westmorland wrestling, plus vintage vehicles, over 60 trade stands and entertainment for children. Check the organiser’s website for this year’s dates.
