We charge £100 deposit per property. The full amount is payable if your arrival date is less than 30 days away.
Your balance payment will be due 30 days before your arrival date.
Should you need to cancel your stay with us, please let us know by email or over the telephone. Providing you cancel more than 30 days before your arrival date you will receive a full refund minus a £25 cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 30 days before your arrival date you are liable for the full amount due and no refund can be offered. Because life can be unpredictable, we strongly recommend that you invest in some form of travel insurance.
Yes. As set out in our terms and conditions, we take your card details when you check in and place a preauthorisation hold of £200, or £50 for our Glamping Pods. This is a hold rather than a charge, and it is released automatically three days after you depart. Please allow up to 21 days for your bank to process the release and for the funds to return to your account.
As Low Briery is a family holiday park, we are unable to accept reservations from anybody under the age of 18. There may also be restrictions on single sex parties and work groups. Please contact us if you are unsure.
The earliest check-in time on your day of arrival is 4pm. This allows us the time to clean and prepare the accommodation for your arrival. If you expect to arrive after 6pm, please let our team know in advance wherever possible, so we can ensure everything is prepared for your late arrival and provide you with any further arrival instructions should you need them.
Your accommodation must be vacated by 10am on your day of departure.
Once you have arrived at Low Briery, your keys can be collected when you check-in at reception.
Because we don’t want to have to organise a search and rescue, we’ve provided you with some handy directions. If you still find yourself in the back of beyond contact us and we will point you in the right direction.
Each property at Low Briery has its own allocated parking. We are not able to guarantee space for additional vehicles, and where we can accommodate one there is a charge of £15 per night per extra vehicle. If you or anybody in your party has walking difficulties, please contact us so that we can advise you on suitable accommodation.
Apart from your lovely self, you will need to bring your own toiletries and in some properties your own towels. Please check the description of the property to see if towels are provided or not. Your bed linen is all provided for you.
Most but not all of our accommodation welcomes house trained, adult dogs, up to a maximum of two. Please check the property descriptions to make sure. Dogs are charged at £20.00 per dog, per stay. We are not able to accept cats, but other pets may be possible, so please contact us before booking and we will let you know.
We can provide you with a cot and highchair free of charge if there is room in your accommodation, however cot bedding is not included. Please check property descriptions to be sure.
Yes. Every property at Low Briery has high speed, secure Wi-Fi, and you will be able to connect in every room. At our very busiest times the connection can occasionally become intermittent.
In line with English law, smoking is not permitted in any of the properties at Low Briery. Failure to observe this will result in a fine of up to £300.00.
Low Briery is located about 1 mile from the town centre of Keswick. The Old Railway footpath just behind us takes you into town. At a steady walking pace it should take 20-25 minutes or 5 minutes by car.
Yes. Our Bobbin Mill Café has a small shop stocking wine, local ales, lager and cider, along with snacks, local cakes, local teas and coffee, and local charcuterie, all of which you are welcome to enjoy on site. For everyday essentials, Keswick and all its shops are a 20 to 25 minute walk along the Old Railway footpath, or 5 minutes by car.
Quiet hours throughout the park are from 10pm to 8am. Please be considerate of your neighbours during these times.
General waste can go in the bins located around the park, and there is a recycling area near reception.
